Evidence Horizons for Integrative Chinese-Western Medicine (EHIM Forum)
Integration of Chinese-Western Medicine is no easy area as Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine have their own domains for development and advancement academically and practically. As medicine in the world is built upon consistency in understanding and practice, the world is in pursuit of a common ground to practice so as to achieve high-quality, high-standard medical management and benefit people's health.
The Evidence Horizons for Integrative Chinese-Western Medicine (EHIM) Forum is vitalized under the Integrative Joint Organizational Platform (IJOP) is an international, interdisciplinary forum for scholarly participation in the advance of Integration of Chinese medicine and western Medicine. IJOP was successful established with the support of the Innovation and Technology Commission (Hong Kong Government) since 2015. The progress of medicine, especially Chinese Medicine, is complemented by real-world evidence that is often more pertinent and useful. Real Integration may be Evidence-led by real-world evidence and experience rather than simply double blind controlled trials, and our domain for Evidence Horizons is broader than Evidence-based Integration, thus facilitating the process of medicine to advance. To strengthen medical practice, writers from Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine as well as those in the field of science should share their passion and the culture and meaning of medicine, whereby consensus through exchanges can be fostered and enhancement of medical directives be brought forward. In this EHIM Forum, integrative fellows all over the world could come together to talk and exchange their work and success over integration.

中西醫結合並非易事，中醫西醫在學術和實踐上都有各自的發展和進步方向。其實醫學本是建立在一致的理解和實踐上的，世界正尋求實踐的共同點，以實現高質量、高標準的醫療治理，造福人類健康。
「結合醫學證據視野論壇」建立於中西醫結合醫學平台上，是一個國際性、跨學科的論壇，供醫者學者參與推進中西醫結合。「中西醫結合醫學平台」是在香港創新科技署支持下於2015年成立。醫學的進步，尤其是中醫，正受益於醫學界愈來愈重視的 "真實世界證據” (Real World Evidence)， 這些證據往往更中肯實用。真正的結合可能更佳是由真實世界證據和經驗為導向而不單是以雙盲對照試驗循證引導的，因此這「證據視野」的結合醫學範圍會更廣泛而實在地促進醫學進步。目標為了加強醫療實踐，我們期盼中西醫和科學界的醫者學者來支持「结合醫學證據視野論壇」, 共同分享大家對醫學結合文化的意義和熱情，通過交流凝聚共識，提高指導中西醫結合醫學。
